Event Overview
The vibrant city of Marrakesh and the spectacular Atlas Mountains staged the perfect event.
Our guests were first booked into the luxurious Riad Palais Sebban, just 5 minutes from Jemaa El Fna and Koutoubia – a central location to explore the magic of the medina.
Guests were treated to a magnificent hot air ballooning experience in front of the High Atlas Mountains and over Berber villages, valleys and ravines. The unapologetically brash hotel, La Mamounia was the perfect venue to hold the 007 black-tie event. We sipped Vesper Martinis and had mixology lessons in the Churchill Bar, followed by a supper of delicious tagines on the cool terrace of Le Maracain. After dinner, we played poker and roulette back at the hotel.
Less than an hour’s drive from Marrakech, Scarabeo Stone Desert Camp in the heart of the Agafay Desert, with its handful of oriental-inspired nomadic tents, allowed our guests to experience the true purity of Moroccan desert life. A heavenly lunch feast of traditional Moroccan cuisine was followed by camel rides across golden sands. Afterwards, we explored the vast desert wilderness in dune buggies. The next morning, our guests discovered the real Maroc on quad bikes with professional guides who took them to exceptional places off the beaten track – through rocky desert, villages, palm groves and Jbilets Desert.
